Brose, one of the world's largest family-owned automotive suppliers, has honored b+m surface systems GmbH from Eiterfeld with 'Supplier Recognition 2018'. b+m Managing Partner Sebastian Merz accepted the recognition on November 20th from Achim Brückner, Head of Purchasing Investments and Services at Brose, in Bamberg.

Once a year, Brose honors its most important suppliers with this award into their exclusive circle that now also includes the eastern Hessian paint line manufacturer. In recent years, b+m has built several ED plants (KTL) for car seat frames at various international Brose locations and was honored as one of just nine suppliers worldwide as 'Key Supplier 2018' in the 'Capital Goods' category for excellence in project execution.

"To be named a key supplier by a global player like Brose is very special," says a delighted Sebastian Merz, adding: "The award acknowledges the achievements of the entire b+m team and at the same time is a great extra motivation for further exciting projects with Brose."

The Brose Group is one of the world's largest automotive suppliers and produces mechatronic systems and components for doors, seats, and electric motors. The family-owned company employs around 26,000 people at 62 locations in 23 countries.

b+m surface systems GmbH is one of the leading manufacturers of fully automatic painting plants. Around 400 employees worldwide ensure smooth project implementation – from planning until the turnkey handover of the plant. Important components, including the two in-house robot series T1 X5 and T2 X5, are manufactured by the Eiterfeld company itself.
